Back from Hibernation

It's been about 8 months since my last post.  After spending most of the summer house hunting, my wife and I finally bought our first home towards the end of the baseball season.  Most of the winter was spent dreading the next great onslaught of snow that seemed to come on a weekly basis, and wishing for the start of spring training.  Now that spring and baseball are back, it's time to get back in the swing of things.  Here are some of the highlights from the second half of last year:

• Met Zdeno Chara at a Walgreens Meet & Greet

• Shook hands with Stephen King

• Visited the site of the 1980 Miracle on Ice in Lake Placid, NY

• High-fived the entire Islanders team on their way out of the locker room out to the ice for warm-ups

• Went to my first Super Bowl parade
