• Ross Ohlendorf 1/2- Signed 09 Topps Updates & Highlights, kept 2010 Topps. However, he also signed one of the protective index cards. Sent 6/16 (20 days)

• Don Wakamatsu 1/1- The manager of the Mariners signed his card from the 09 Topps set in 2 weeks. Sent 6/28 (14 days)

• George Sherrill 1/2- Mr. Sherrill signed his 09 Topps card and kept the 09 Updates & Highlights card. Sent 7/2 (10 days)

I also received 2 long-term failures from last year as well. Clete Thomas and Ian Kinsler returned cards unsigned that I sent about 10-12 months ago.

• Drew Stubbs 2/2- The young Reds outfielder signed 2010 Topps Heritage and National Chicle rookie cards in blue sharpie. Sent 6/1 (3o days)

• Manny Acta 2/2- The former Nationals manager and current Indians manager signed 08 and 09 Topps cards in less than a week. Sent 6/26 (6 days)
  

Manny Delcarmen's Bowling Strikes for Schools

At the last minute, I decided to get a ticket to Manny Delcarmen's charity bowling event at the bowling alley across from Fenway. The event took place on Monday, which also happened to be my birthday, so I figured I'd take a trip after work and try to get some autographs.

Despite what I was told about previous years from several different people, this event turned out to be the single best night for Red Sox autographs that I've had. Here's what I managed to get:

I got Delcarmen to personalize the card with "Happy B-Day Frank!" It'll be a nice reminder years down the road of how great this event was. I look forward to going against next year.

TTM Return: Ty Wigginton

Earlier this year, I sent two cards to Ty Wigginton, but he kept one and returned the other signed. I recently re-sent his 09 Topps Updates & Highlights card and received it back on Monday. His signature is probably the largest I've ever seen on a card before. Sent 5/29 (29 days)

• Juan Pierre 1/2- The White Sox outfield kept my 09 Topps card, but returned a 2010 Topps card signed. Sent 5/28 (28 days)

• Chone Figgins 2/2- Chone signed cards from the 09 Topps Updates & Highlights and 09 Upper Deck sets in just over two weeks. Sent 6/11 (15 days)
  

My 100th Signed Card From The 2009 Topps Set!

Today I received a Spring Training TTM return from Rockies starter Jeff Francis. He signed a 2008 Upper Deck Documentary card, as well as the 100th signed card for my 2009 Topps set. It took me a little less than one year to get this far, so hopefully I can keep it up and have the set completed sometime in the next decade or so! Sent 3/10 (104 days)
